As part of my journal-format PhD thesis, I have conducted four studies examining harm and vulnerabilities associated with missing children in England. The first of these has been published in Policing and Society, and the second is currently under peer review.

My research takes a mixed-methods approach, integrating natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning techniques to explore how these tools can support both academic inquiry and practical safeguarding responses.
